Trekking Sapa - Muong Hoa Valley 3 Days/2 Nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Sapa – Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho (L/D)

7.30 – 8.00 am: Hanoi Old Quarter Car's guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Sin Chai village. Located at the foot of Hoang Lien mountain range, the village is home to Black Hmong ethnic minority. From the village, start your trek up to the mountain. Upon getting to the top, trek on a small trail leading to Cat Cat village. Take in the spectacular views along the way. When you are in the village, enjoy lunch nearby a waterfall. 

In the afternoon, keep your foot on the trailing meandering through the mountain. Enjoy a breathtaking view as you walk along a narrow river. The route will then lead to Y Linh Ho village inhabited by Black Hmong people. Take a short rest at a nice spot nearby the river. 

Overnight at a local house in Y Linh Ho village.

The real life in Sapa

Day 2: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)

Your trek today will be filled with magnificent views over the huge rice terraces in Muong Hoa Valley as you trek along Hoang Lien mountain range. 

Enjoy lunch at a nice spot along the way. After that, head to the bottom of the valley passing through Lao Chai village and Ta Van village on a popular trekking route. Take your time to relax with a walk around the region or a swim in the nearby river.

Approx: 4 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch

Trekking Terraced Fields

Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan (B/L)

Your last trekking part is short but scenic. After having breakfast, make your way to Giang Ta Chai village. En-route, make a stop nearby the beautiful waterfall for a short rest and beautiful surroundings. After passing through a bamboo forest in Hoang Lien National Park, enjoy lunch at a nice spot.

After lunch, continue your trail through the bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai – the village of Red Dzao minority. Take a short rest nearby a waterfall; continue onto Su Pan on a small trail. Upon arrival at the village, transfer back to Sapa by car.
